Documenting the experience of raising a puppy for The Seeing Eye, Inc., where he will then be trained as a guide dog for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Also... I just found out i will be getting my puppy later this week. i have thought about it a lot and want to make a puppy blog like this one. do you have any ideas or advice for me? Do you know if (since Vinson will be returning and you do not know when you will be getting another pup) the seeing eye would like another puppy blog?
I plan to become a veterinarian and would like to document every step of my puppy raising for when i apply to colleges! Once I joined this program I further realized my love of animals and how i wanted to help them in all ways possible! So even before I will receive my puppy The Seeing Eye has helped my life for the better!
May 10th, 2009 is a very special day in our home. That is the day one of the pups we raised was born. We still celebrate that day and are lucky enough to be able to celebrate with her!
We acknowledge the birth dates of all the pups we have raised! We usually take out the photo album and other memorabilia of their stay in our home that we put together!!!!
Long live the memories of these wonderful young, healthy dogs as they go out into service with their forever person!!!!
