Documenting the experience of raising a puppy for The Seeing Eye, Inc., where he will then be trained as a guide dog for people who are blind or visually impaired.
I wish my Seeing Eye puppy had had a Seeing-Eye-sanctioned field like that to run in. I faithfully abided by the rule that he should never be outdoors off-leash, since I didn't have a fenced yard, so he never had a chance to run around like that. We took lots of walks, but I always felt guilty about the running thing. He was a shepherd and definitely needed a way to burn off some energy.
I hope you let us know how Vinson does with his training!
I am going to miss that funny face so much!
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHe grew up to be a handsome boy! Knock 'em dead, Vinson!! Be proud, Mom and Dad!
ReplyDeleteI too am going to miss seeing Vinson. Good luck Vinson, I know you will do well. If not I know you will have a happy friend to go back to!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Vinson!
